Ingredients :
2 cup Vegetable oil
1 cup Annatto seeds * see note
Method :
• * Note: Available in Latino markets.
• Place the oil in a 2-quart heavy saucepan and heat to about 350 degrees. Add the annatto seeds and
remove the pan from the heat. Allow to cool and strain the oil in to a glass jar.
• This recipe makes 2 cups of annatto oil.
